Medication Management for Children with ADHD and Mood Symptoms

This learning module is for medical professionals who want to learn more about medication management for children with ADHD and mood symptoms. It was designed with primary care pediatric professionals in mind. Video discussion of medication management, interactive learning activities, and a list of pearls and resources are provided. Providers will learn:

• Guidelines for safe medication prescribing for mental health concerns in children
• Pharmacotherapy for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
• Which medications are used to treat mood symptoms in children, including possible side effects

The estimated time to complete this module is 40 – 50 minutes.
